NEW CEO APPOINTED

 
   

The Board of Greatconnections are pleased to announce the appointment of Suzanne Teese as our new CEO.  Suzanne will be commencing on 27th September, 2010 and we would like you to join us in welcoming her to the organisation.

 

Suzanne has been managing Leadership Development across a range of programs for Leadership Victoria.  She managed and developed the ExperienceBank program, and applied experiential and action inquiry learning techniques to the full range of programs offered by Leadership Victoria as well as introducing Field Based Project Teams to support community organisations.
 
Prior to her career in Community Leadership, Suzanne was School Principal of a school providing programs for young people with mental health disorders. She has also lectured within the Monash Professional Development Institute of Monash University.
 
Suzanne has researched leadership and mentoring in Canada and the United States and continues to participate in international communities of learning around community leadership.

 

We believe that Suzanne’s experience will bring immense benefit to Greatconnections and take our organisation towards our next step of growth.

 

We will be holding a welcome function around mid October and will update you asap with a date.

New Client Managers Appointed

 
Greatconnections would like to welcome 3 new Client Managers to the team – Carol Nugent, Charles Williams and Russell Howard.

 

Our Client Managers play a pivotal role in delivering the Greatconnections Vision of being the leading coordinator of strategic skilled volunteer services for the not-for-profit sector.

 

Carol Nugent is a born organiser who has been a Team Leader, Manager, EA to a Federal Member of Parliament and an EA to a Commonwealth Government Department State Manager.

 

Charles Williams skills include business advice, marketing, human resources, training and recruitment.  He has consulted on training and seminars in Supervision, Leadership and Small Business Planning.

 

Russell Howard has 35 years extensive experience in human resources, line management, executive and non-executive director roles across a wide range of organisations locally and internationally.
