Suzanne managed Leadership Development across a range of programs for Leadership Victoria.
Leadership Victoria works with the leaders of today and tomorrow – from the most exciting emerging leaders in the country, to renowned leaders from Australia and beyond. At Leadership Victoria, Suzanne managed and developed the ExperienceBank program, applied experiential and action inquiry learning techniques to the full range of programs offered by Leadership Victoria as well as introducing Field Based Project Teams to support community organisations.
Suzanne is an experienced educator who has held a range of leadership positions. Before joining Leadership Victoria, Suzanne was Manager, Leadership and Innovation at Leadership Plus.
Suzanne received the Community Services and Health Industry Training Award, 'Innovation in
Training and Assessment' for her work in developing and facilitating the Leadership Plus
Leadership Program.
Prior to her career in Community Leadership, Suzanne was School Principal of a school providing programs for young people with mental health disorders. Suzanne has also lectured within the Monash Professional Development Institute of Monash University.
In 2004, Suzanne was awarded an Ethel Temby Travelling Scholarship to research leadership and mentoring in Canada and the United States. Suzanne continues to participate in international communities of learning around community leadership.
Suzanne has completed the Sydney Leadership Program 'Leading with a Difference', the Leadership Development Program at Mt Eliza Business School and is an Associate of Leadership Victoria. (EB 2007).
On a personal level, Suzanne supports the Women's Mentoring Program of VACRO (Victorian Association for the Care and Resettlement of Offenders).
Heather McKee
Volunteer and Client Services Manager
Heather has had an extensive career in program development, middle management and senior management roles in local government (1979-2009).
Heather's work has spanned the development and management of early childhood services, services to families and young people, and to older residents. Positions she has held have ranged from social policy and planning to community services management. Her work has also included the establishment and co-ordination of social research, social planning & social policy functions within several councils.
Whilst working with local government, Heather has worked collaboratively with a wide range of community based and non-government organisations. She has also developed volunteer policies for two of the councils where she has worked, providing policy direction and identifying actions to encourage and support volunteering in local communities.
Heather has been an active volunteer in her own local community, working with a range of local organisations. She has held positions on a number of local committees and boards.
Bill Wallace
Office Manager
Bill Wallace comes to Greatconnections with almost a decade's experience in office administration in the community sector, most recently as a manager in a mental health peak. His education attainments include a Bachelor of Social Work and Certificate in Information Technology. He also has an arts degree, majoring in philosophy. Prior to his entry into the not for profit sector, Bill's pursuits were as varied as theatrical design, working his way through Europe, and voluntary work for health awareness organisations.
